CALI Training Is Required For All Incoming International Students

Get ready for CALI! CALI stands for California, and it also stands for Cultural Awareness, Laws, and Immigration--topics that have special importance for international students.

If you are an incoming international student, you are mandated (required) by Federal Immigration Policy to complete OISS CALI training. It will help prepare you for academic, social and professional success as an international Gaucho at UCSB, a world-class research university. OISS staff are excited to provide you with this training where you will receive a lot of important information, but also as an opportunity to welcome you to UCSB! We hope that you'll use this time to make some friends and get to know the friendly staff of OISS as well.
