OISS encourages you to get involved on campus by attending events such as those hosted by Arts & Lectures or the MultiCultural Center, or by joining a club (there are over 400 registered campus organizations here!).

VISAS & FUNDING WORKSHOP FOR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE STUDENTS

Join Erik Williams, OISS' International Student Programs Coordinator, and Ranjani Atur, Graduate Funding Peer Advisor, for an open-ended workshop where you can get all your questions about visas and funding answered. The facilitators will each share a brief presentation and then there will be a question and answer session to address your individual situations. 

Erik Williams will shared the visas portion at noon; Ranjani Atur will share funding information starting at 12:30. Feel free to come for some or all of the workshop!
There will be an open Q&A session at the end.

Do you find it daunting to figure out how to start the job process, where to look for jobs, and how to know whether a particular job will assist you with visa and residency issues? Attend this workshop, co-hosted by Vash Doshi (UCSB's Graduate Career Peer) and Julia McClenon (UCSB's Graduate International Peer), to learn more about the basics of a non-academic career job search for international students. 

Although helpful, attendees are not required to interact by video, but are welcome to share their questions through voice or chat instead.
